Walker Ozar D.C

You could say that Walker Ozar, D.C. inadvertently planted the seeds for his career when he was a teenage athlete growing up in Los Angeles. He played high school football and baseball—and sustained a few injuries along the way. He’d always been very interested in working out properly, massage, and eating right, and when he turned to rehabilitation, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustment to help with his recovery he fell in love with all the healing modalities.

Walker studied health and science at the University of Arizona, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. Eventually, his desire to combine physical therapy and chiropractic led him to chiropractic rehabilitation and he earned his professional degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.

He began his practice in 1996 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and for the next few years, he continued formulating his philosophy of healing. Looking back, he realized that whenever he had been going through rehab for various sports-related injuries, he was always driving from place to place to place. But what if he could create a facility where everything could take place under one roof?

Walker founded the Beverly Hills Posture & Rehabilitation Institute in 1999. A decade later, it is a one-stop wellness center where a team of treatment professionals works together to diagnose, treat and enhance a patient's physical, medical and emotional health.

"I believe in treating the body as a whole, thoroughly evaluating the nature and possible origin of a patient's symptoms," explains Dr. Ozar. "Putting a band-aid on one part of a body and neglecting the less obvious problem areas does not lead to a successful result. Our goal is to reduce pain, build muscle strength, and teach our patients maintenance exercises to provide a continued state of well-being."
