DRX 9000 for Herniated Discs

Herniated Disc: Definition

A Herniated Disc occurs when the tough outer fibers of the spinal disc tear allowing the "jelly center" of the disc to herniate (or bulge) outward. A Herniated Disc is more serious than a Disc Bulge where the outer wall of the disc is weakened but not torn.

Herniated Disc: Symptoms

Most symptoms caused by Disc Herniation are related to spinal nerve irritation. The nerves exit the spine through small holes called foramen. The discs are located next to these nerve passageways. The Herniated Disc can "pinch" the nerves creating a variety of painful symptoms.

(Herniated Disc)

DRX9000 Spinal Disc Decompression provides relief by gently reducing pressure within spinal discs. The bones of the spine are gently and methodically separated using the DRX9000 Spinal Decompression equipment. This slowly reduces pressure inside the disc until a vacuum is formed. This vacuum "sucks" the the Disc Herniation back into the disc. A series of spinal disc decompression treatments can reduced the herniation to the point that pressure is removed from the the spinal nerves. This drastically reduces pain and disability. The "sucking" vacuum also draws much-needed oxygen and nutrients into the injured and degenerated discs allowing the healing to begin.
