FAQ

If you can not find an answer here, please Ask A Question To Dr. Ozar

If I book an appointment with Dr. Ozar, does that mean that I'll get a chiropractic adjustment?
Definitely not. There are many conditions and diagnoses that do not warrant a chiropractic adjustment.

I have heard that many chiropractors do a surprise adjustment when least expected. Do you?
Dr. Ozar will never surprise a patient. All treatments are discussed with and approved by the patient.

Do I need a prescription from my medical doctor to see Dr. Ozar?
No, but we do take any script for Physcial Therapy and we use your Doctor's input.

Do I need a prescription to see a Physical Therapist?
Only if you want to see them without going through Dr. Ozar first.

Do I need a presciption to see the accupucturist?
No.

Can an accupuncturist visit go through my insurance?
Most likely yes as long as your insurance is a PPO or POS with out of network benefits.

How do I find out what exactly is covered by my insurance?
If you are unclear as to what exactly your plan covers then you can fax your insurance card to the office prior to your appointment and then call the front desk and someone will get back to you with the necessary information.

Are treatments at BHP covered by insurance?
Most likely yes as long as your insurance is a PPO or POS with out of network benefits.

How do I find out what exactly is covered by my insurance?
First, call our office and explain to the person at the front desk that you are concerned that your insurance may not cover your visit. That person will take down your information and tell you what information you'll need to fax to the office so that someone can get back to you with a full explanation of insurance benefits as they pertain to your treatment at Beverly Hills Posture.
